AEA Dance Competition
AEA Families,
On Monday and Tuesday, March 18th and 19th, we will be hosting our annual Dance Competition and would like to invite you all to attend. Our middle school students have been working for weeks on creating a unique dance to music of their choosing. Each grade level has dance elements that they must cover, along with criteria from IB.
Your students will be competing during their Physical Education class and against other groups from their grade. We will be hosting the Dance Competition on our courts if it is not raining. If you would like to attend, please use the parking lot next to the Middle School courts and walk to the front of the school and check-in through the main office.
Monday March 18th, B-Day
7th Grade: 8:50am-10am
6th Grade: 10:05am-11:15am
8th Grade: 1:10pm-2:20pm
Tuesday March 19th A-Day:
7th Grade: 8:50am-10am
6th Grade: 10:05am-11:15am
8th Grade: 1:10pm-2:20pm
If the weather does not allow us to host the event outdoors, we will move the MPR. In that case, we will not be able to allow families to attend because of the space limitations indoors. We will still live stream the Dances on Zoom and record the Dances. If you would like a recording of your student’s dance, then please email me (mvozzolo@aeacs.org) after the competition with your student’s name, grade level, and PE day.

Concurso de baile de AEA
Familias de AEA,
El lunes y martes 18 y 19 de marzo celebraremos nuestro concurso anual de baile y nos gustaría invitarles a todos a que asistan. Nuestros alumnos de secundaria han estado trabajando durante semanas en la creación de un baile único al ritmo de la música de su elección. Cada grado tiene elementos de danza que deben cubrir, junto con los criterios del IB.
Los alumnos competirán durante su clase de Educación Física y contra otros grupos de su grado. Organizaremos la competencia de baile en nuestras canchas si no llueve. Si desea asistir, por favor utilice el estacionamiento junto a las canchas de la secundaria y camine hasta el frente de la escuela. Regístrese en la oficina principal.

Si el tiempo no nos permite celebrar el evento al aire libre, lo llevaremos a cabo en el MPR. En ese caso, no podremos permitir que las familias asistan debido a las limitaciones de espacio al interior del edificio. Seguiremos retransmitiendo en directo en Zoom los bailes y grabándolas. Si desea una grabación del baile de su hijo entonces por favor envíeme un correo electrónico (mvozzolo@aeacs.org) después de la competencia con el nombre de su hijo, grado y el día de PE.
